The assignment is due at the beginning of lecture on Friday, 6 Mar. Your proposal should comprise a single page that covers the requirements listed below. This proposal is worth 10% of your project grade. It should be prepared with attention to usage, grammar and punctuation, as it is a written communication (think of it as a proposal to a funding agency).

Your project proposal should be limited to a single page and address the following five headings:

• Title: a descriptive title of the proposed work
• Abstract: a paragraph that outlines the salient aspects of the work proposed; this is not a bulleted listing, but rather a written paragraph
• Physics: a brief discussion of the physics behind the proposed investigation
• Numerics: a brief discussion of the numerical techniques to be used and method of error analysis
• Products: graphical and/or numerical results, paper and or presentation materials you expect to produce as a result of the proposed work
